This might not seem like much, but this is where it all starts; the journey begins here. These soybean seeds will go from our storage shed to seed tenders, to planters, to the field, where the seed will in fact die. Once the outer shell dies, the seed germinates and grows into a plant. A single soybean plant can produce anywhere from 15 to 25 pods and each of these pods can contain 2-3 individual seeds. The math is simple, a single soybean seed can produce an amount 75x greater than itself!
