Neighbors Helping Neighbors

This may look like an ordinary male delay planter, but it is not.  This planter isn’t ours; we’re borrowing it from the Kenneys (Close neighbors) to finish up some male delay planting.  One of the best perspectives of agriculture can be seen in this picture. It is a view of the tight-knit community surrounding agricultural production.  Neighbors helping neighbors in order to move forward and succeed is one of the most overlooked aspects of farming today. Some perceive the Ag industry as becoming too large and impersonal, but here at LongView Farms we highly value the relationships we have with our neighbors and our clients.  We realize that we are stronger working together than pursuing our own ends alone. It may be as simple as lending a helping hand, or as large as a piece of machinery, but if there is a way we can actively participate in building up our community, Longview Farms will certainly be there.  We are blessed to have neighbors who share in this vision and we are thankful for the help we have received even in the last couple of weeks. Thank you Kenneys!
