Steve Henry serves as CEO for LongView Farms.  He grew up actively participating in the family farm operation.  After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Farm Operation from Iowa State University, he worked as an ag lender in Nebraska for Farm Credit Services and then for Metropolitan.  Since returning to farm in 1988, Steve has taken advantage of numerous educational opportunities including the Ferguson Agri-Management Institute, Texas A & M’s Executive Program for Ag Producers, and Purdue’s Top Crop Farmer Program.  Steve has served on the Iowa Soybean Association Board of Directors, Heart of Iowa Co-op Board, and is currently a director on the Farm Credit Services of America board.  His local involvement in Rotary, Cornerstone Church, and his sons’ activities has provided leadership roles, professional contacts, and opportunities to help support the community.

Laurie Henry provides the accounting, marketing, and record management for the farm.  She graduated in Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University.  Her previous position as assistant director at the Ames Chamber of Commerce provided experience in personnel management, leadership training, budgeting and financial procedures, and business development strategies that are of benefit to the operation.  She has served on the board of directors for the Agricultural Environmental Management Systems Network (Ag EMS Net), Center for Agriculture Development (CAD) at Iowa State University, and the Farm Credit Services Advisory Board.  In addition to her farm responsibilities, she currently serves on the Nevada State Bank and Trust Board and volunteers for a number of community and church activities.
